Sometimes you just want the cosiness of a small festival. Less queues a the bar (hopefully) and a more intimate vibe overall. We’re lucky to be surrounded by such a strong selection of intimate, independent festivals. Smaller crowds, better energy, and a real chance to connect with the music. These are the places where emerging talent shines and where bigger DJs test new sounds, playing more freely. Each one brings its own unique and interment vibe - something rare at bigger events. Here's our round up of the best small festivals in 2026.

Friends Of Friends 26th – 28th June

Still in its infancy (only in it's second year), friends of friends has stormed onto the scene. Boasting a DIY essence combined with informed and multifaceted programming, it's a real get together for music lovers and party starters.

Wild Wood Festival 19th – 21st June

Tucked away near Cambridge, Wild Wood feels a hidden gem. So much so, we almost didn't include it in this round up. An incredible space with amazing vibes, beautiful art, thoughtfully designed stages, impeccable sound quality, what's not to love? Everyone’s simply there for a good time. You're able to feel completely free and in the moment, which creates the most unique atmosphere. We’ve made some amazing memories at Wild Wood and try to make it year on year.

Floorless Festival 12th – 14th June

After a year off to regroup, they're returning bigger and badder than ever. They're boasting a bespoke, state of the art sound system developed in collaboration between DJ and curator Donut, craftsman Toby Woodroffe and loudspeaker designer Bosco Taylor of Byword Studios. The design focuses on the utmost reduction of distortion, creating near perfect reproduction of sound with immense detail and power. Their philosophy is to elevate how you hear and feel the music, not to blow your head off. In their words, the festival's sound inspires. "Synergies, creative juices. Friendships [are] formed. It makes sense and it feels good."

Dias De Campo 14th – 17th May

Located between the mountains and hot springs of Montanejos, Spain, Días de Campo has one of the most picturesque festival settings we’ve come across. Six different stages, 200+ hours of music, and a crowd that comes from all over. Whether you want to float in the river during ambient sessions at Termas Downtempo, or get lost in the madness of El Tipi from day into night, or catch marathon sets under the lights of the XCEED Main Stage, each part of the festival is carefully curated without losing its rawness. From intimate village gatherings at La Plaza to the Jameson and OCB stages, Días de Campo delivers with community and a feeling of total escapism.
