For your first pair
AlphaTheta HDJ - CUE1 headphones, £59.00
Our review: These are great starter mixing headphones, and they still feel super comfortable and easy to wear even after a long mixing session. Complete with a classic and instantly recognisable silver and grey design, they're definitely a starter's go-to. The closed back style prevents audio leakage, too.

For music production
beyerdynamic - DT 770 PRO X, £168.00
Our review: You can literally wear them for hours, but really, we like how clear they are. Beyer's certain type of clarity helps to catch imperfections like skips when mixing. These are perfect for electronic & rap genres, as these headphones specialise in production-heavy music, as opposed to other types like Indie/Rock. True to German design, each piece is efficient & fully user replaceable. A solid choice.

For everyday
AIAIAI - Tracks, £50.00
Our review: These slinky AIAIA over-ears are a proper throwback, giving extreme 90s nostalgia. But the draw doesn't stop there, they're also super compact, minimalist, and lightweight on your head. The sound quality is amazing for their price point, especially considering how lightweight they are. In this case, simplicity wins.

For daily side quests
Bose - Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, £99.95
Our review: Bose sound quality definitely outruns other wired ones on the market, but what really sets them apart is the silicone casing, because it means they don’t really tangle. It's a snug fit and may not work for every ear shape, but we're obsessed. Viva the wired headphone revolution.

For when you go pro
Sennheiser - HD 25 Plus, £169.00
Our review: For DJs and live sound engineers, you really cannot go wrong with the Sennheisers. With a their famously featherweight & indestructible plastic build, they're a hot choice for most DJs and producers we know. Featuring Sennheiser's signature split headband for single ear listening, they're build with our field in mind. Coupled with a lively and punchy sound, you can't go far wrong.
